Marking the auspicious occasion of Parashurama Jayanti, Hombale Films and Kleem Production officially announced the second instalment of their ambitious seven-film Mahavatar Cinematic Universe . Inspired by the ten incarnations of Lord Vishnu, the makers released the first glimpse and poster of Mahavatar Parshuram on Akshaya Tritiya. Backed by Hombale Films and produced by Kleem Production, the film’s first look was unveiled across social media platforms. Helmed by Ashwin Kumar, the poster of Mahavatar Parshuram showcases a fierce warrior standing amid a battlefield, gripping a blood-soaked axe. The dramatic visual is accompanied by the striking tagline, “Where Patience Ends, the Axe of Parshuram Begins!” Sharing the first look, the makers wrote, “Presenting the next from the Mahavatar Cinematic Universe: #MahavatarParshuraam. Not a ruler, but a force against adharma, restoring balance across ages. The poster is so good!” Mahavatar Universe to Chronicle Lord Vishnu’s Ten Incarnations The Mahavatar Cinematic Universe was officially announced last year and aims to depict all ten divine avatars of Lord Vishnu. The journey begins with Mahavatar Narsimha in 2025 and is expected to conclude with Mahavatar Kalki Part 2 in 2037. Last year in June, director Ashwin Kumar had shared that the franchise aims to bring the cultural heritage of Bharat to audiences on an unprecedented cinematic scale through stories based on Lord Vishnu’s Dasha Avatar.
