From Village To Marketplace: Rural Women Achieve Self-Reliance With Yogi Adityanath Govt Support And Modern Technology

The Uttar Pradesh government said over 18,000 women in the Awadh region have become ‘Lakhpati Didis’ through dairy-related businesses. More than 1.25 lakh women were trained in modern dairy production, digital payments and quality management. Officials said technology-driven milk networks and direct bank transfers have reduced dependence on middlemen and boosted rural incomes.
