India can play long-term mediator role: Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov on Iran-US conflict

Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov proposed India as a mediator for the Iran-US conflict. He highlighted India’s extensive diplomatic experience and its role as BRICS chair. Lavrov suggested India could facilitate dialogue between Iran and its Arab neighbours to prevent regional instability. India’s past mediation efforts in various global conflicts were also noted.
