Mumbai Court Grants Bail To Accused In New India Co-op Bank Fraud Case

A Mumbai magistrate court granted bail to Rajivranjan Pandey alias Pawan Gupta, accused in the alleged New India Co-operative Bank fraud case, after the Supreme Court allowed his appeal. Prosecutors alleged he received ₹15 crore in a “cash-for-CSR” conspiracy, while the defence cited weak identification evidence, no criminal history, and family hardships.
