Korean Culture Has Anchored East Asia for 2,000 Years, Says Museum Chief Yu

Yu Hong-june, director of the National Museum of Korea, said at Seoul Forum 2026’s Pixel & Paint event that K-culture’s roots stretch back 2,000 years, citing Baekje craftsmanship and Goryeo celadon.
