A fire broke out in a building near Sassoon Dock in Colaba around 12.30 pm on Sunday. Videos shared online showed thick black smoke billowing from the structure. Mumbai Police responded to a post on X, saying the matter had been forwarded to the main control room. The incident comes days after a fire at a nearby building in Colaba.
