AI startup Emergent nears $200 million fundraise from Creaegis, Amazon, Ranjan Pai’s Claypond, others

Moneycontrol had first reported on April 9 Emergent had initiated discussions to raise around $200 million, with Creaegis emerging as a key investor at $1.5 billion valuation. As it happens, Emergent co-founder, Madhav Jha, worked at Amazon as an Applied Scientist between 2017 and 2019.
