Maharashtra Govt Extends Polytechnic CAP Admission Deadline To July 2 Amid Document Delays

The Maharashtra government has extended the deadline for first-year Diploma Engineering admissions under the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) to July 2, 2026. The earlier deadline was June 22. Officials said the move follows strong student response and delays in obtaining required certificates. Over 1.45 lakh candidates have registered so far, with more than 1.15 lakh completing fee payment.
