FSDA cracks down on adulterated food, nearly 18 tonnes seized or destroyed in Lucknow

Lucknow’s food safety authorities took decisive action by confiscating nearly ten tonnes of food items, with more than eight tonnes rendered unsuitable and subsequently destroyed. Inspectors gathered nineteen samples for testing, resulting in the swift shutdown of a spice manufacturing unit due to poor hygiene standards. Follow-up measures will be implemented once laboratory results are analyzed.
