India, Japan push for a free and open Indo-Pacific at high-level defence talks

India and Japan reaffirmed their commitment to a free, open and rules-based Indo-Pacific at their eighth Defence Policy Dialogue in Tokyo. The two sides also reviewed progress in defence cooperation and discussed expanding collaboration in maritime security, defence technology, cybersecurity and space.
