‘Don’t turn south into storm’: Stalin slams Centre’s delimitation move, questions special Parliament session

A special session of Parliament is set to commence on April 16 to pass bills aimed at increasing the number of Lok Sabha constituencies in the country to 816. Stalin questioned the urgency of convening Parliament right in the midst of elections in five states. He also questioned why the government disregarded the valid suggestion from opposition leaders that the special session should be convened only after April 29.
