HC asks contractor to deploy more men to repair Mizoram highway

In a decisive move, the Gauhati High Court has mandated J Infratech Limited, a firm based in Haryana, to enhance manpower and upgrade machinery for the vital repairs of the Aizawl-Silchar Highway. Despite the contractor’s assurances of deploying additional resources to hasten the process, the Mizoram Truck Drivers Association has claimed that the situation on the ground is still lacking.
