CEBU CITY — Metro Cebu saw a stronger participation in Earth Hour this year, data from utility providers showed. According to Visayan Electric, the metro recorded a load reduction of 2.8 megawatts (MW) during the one-hour lights-off initiative last March 28. It was slightly higher compared to the 2.01 MW recorded in the previous year.
