22 cases of cyclosporiasis reported in north Alabama amid national outbreak

The Alabama Department of Public Health is reporting 28 cases of cyclosporiasis statewide, with most in north Alabama, as part of an ongoing national outbreak of the gastrointestinal illness caused by the parasite Cyclospora cayetanensis.
