Global Terrorism Index: As global deaths fall, Pakistan sees 6% rise in attacks to top the list

Even as deaths and acts of terror fell worldwide, Pakistan reported a 6% rise in terrorism‐related fatalities, climbing to the top spot in the Global Terrorism Index. Terrorism‐related deaths in Pakistan have now surged to their highest level in a decade.
