APC Engages Women Aspirants, Diplomats, FCT Stakeholders in Abuja

The All Progressives Congress (APC) National Secretariat buzzed with high-level strategic engagements on Tuesday as the party continued efforts to boost inclusivity, diplomatic relations, and internal cohesion. The Forum of 2027 APC Female Aspirants Network (FAFAN) held a crucial meeting with APC National Chairman, Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda Goshwe, under the inspiring theme “Run to Win.” The session focused on encouraging more women to actively participate and contest for positions in the 2027 general elections. Dr. Yilwatda assured the female aspirants of the APC’s unwavering support for gender inclusivity, describing the party as Nigeria’s most accommodating and progressive political platform. In a separate diplomatic engagement, Burundi’s Ambassador to Nigeria, Édouard Nduwimana, paid a courtesy visit to the chairman. The envoy congratulated Dr. Yilwatda on his emergence as APC National Chairman and commended the party’s efforts toward strengthening bilateral ties between Nigeria and Burundi. Meanwhile, members of the APC National Working Committee (NWC) held extensive consultations with critical stakeholders from the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). The meeting forms part of ongoing initiatives to deepen party unity and enhance grassroots mobilization ahead of future elections.
