Driver was reportedly resting inside an air-conditioned cab with windows closed when locals noticed the vehicle parked for several hours near Nelagedarahalli A shocking incident was reported from Bengaluru’s Peenya police station limits after a cab driver was found dead inside a parked car near Nelagedarahalli on Tuesday afternoon. According to preliminary information, the driver had parked the cab by the roadside at around 10 am. The man was reportedly inside the vehicle with the air-conditioner switched on and the windows fully closed. Locals in the area initially noticed that the car had remained parked at the same spot for an unusually long time. After observing the vehicle for several hours, a few residents approached the cab around 12 noon to check if everything was normal. Since the car doors were locked from inside and there was no response from the driver, locals attempted to open the vehicle. As there was no movement from inside, the window glass was broken using a stone to unlock the door and gain access to the cab. Once the door was opened, the driver was found unconscious inside the vehicle. Police and local residents immediately shifted the man to a nearby hospital. However, doctors confirmed that he had already passed away. Hospital authorities reportedly informed the police that the driver is suspected to have suffered a heart attack. The exact cause of death is expected to be confirmed after further medical examination. The deceased was working as a cab driver for a private company vehicle, police said. Authorities are currently gathering details about the victim, including his identity and family background. A case of Unnatural Death Report (UDR) has been registered at the Peenya Police Station, and further investigation is underway.
