Calcutta High Court extends protection for Abhishek Banerjee in Assembly signature forgery case

Trinamool Congress national general secretary and MP Abhishek Banerjee has received further relief from the Calcutta High Court in the West Bengal Assembly signature forgery case. The court has extended his protection from coercive action, including arrest, for another month while the CID investigation continues.
