CEU earns spot in 2026 THE Sustainability Impact Rankings

The Centro Escolar University (CEU) was among the universities recognized in the 2026 Times Higher Education (THE) Sustainability Impact Rankings after placing in the 601–800 band of the overall rankings. The 2026 edition evaluated 1,646 higher education institutions from 116 countries and territories. CEU was among the 160 Philippine higher education institutions included in this year’s global assessment. According to THE, CEU received its highest score in Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 3 (Good Health and Well-being), earning 70.4–76.5 points. The university also scored 62.1–66.6 points in SDG 5 (Gender Equality) and 40.2–58.0 points in SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production). Published by London-based THE, the Times Higher Education Sustainability Impact Ratings, formerly known as the THE Impact Rankings, is the only global ranking that assesses how higher education institutions contribute to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. This year’s assessment covered 17 individual SDG tables and one overall ranking, evaluating universities based on their performance in research, teaching, stewardship, and knowledge exchange.
