EU Vows Help for Farmers Hit by Iran War Fertilizer Price Hikes

After the Iran war drives up fertilizer prices, the EU has announced plans to disburse €200 million in its agriculture crisis reserve, potentially doubling that amount, to help local farmers buy fertilizers, but lobbying group Copa-Cogeca has criticized the plan and said it failed to provide “any real response.”
