FIFA to fund World Cup teams 15 per cent more; allows exiled Afghan women’s international return

FIFA has announced a 15 per cent increase in World Cup team prize money and a significant boost for all national federations. Concurrently, a landmark rule change now permits Afghan women footballers to return to official international matches, following their exclusion since 2021.
