Fuel bulk buying curbs: Govt bars big diesel, petrol users from retail pumps for 90 days

The Centre has restricted bulk fuel buying from retail petrol pumps after industrial and commercial users shifted to retail outlets amid a wide price gap between retail and bulk diesel rates. The order caps retail diesel purchases at 200 litres per customer or vehicle per day and aims to stop hoarding, diversion and local fuel shortages.
