Hà Nội police bust ‘holiday contract’ fraud ring that conned nearly 500 victims

A network of 27 sham tourism companies duped hundreds of people – many of them elderly – into buying worthless holiday membership contracts, with total criminal proceeds estimated at more than VNĐ2.7 trillion.
