High courts can’t exercise suo motu powers, rules FCC

ISLAMABAD – The Federal Constitutional Court (FCC) has ruled that the Sindh High Court (SHC) committed judicial overreach by exercising suo motu jurisdiction against police officials and interfering in policy guidelines without justification.
