JCF to restrict firearms at entertainment venues amid Big Wall shooting

The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) has announced that restrictions on firearms at entertainment venues will soon be implemented as part of efforts to enhance public safety, following a shooting incident at a post-Carnival event in St Andrew. The incident occurred on Sunday at the Ranny Williams Entertainment Centre during the Big Wall party, where three people were shot. According to the police, at 9:30 p.m., a physical altercation developed between patrons at the event.
