Katara launches summer camps with participation of nearly 190 students

Doha:  The Katara Cultural Village Foundation launched its 2026 summer camps, attracting a remarkable turnout with nearly 190 children and young people registering. The camps offer a diverse range of cultural, artistic, and scientific programmes for both boys and girls, and will continue until July 29th. The interactive atmosphere combines learning, fun, and skills development. Participants were divided into eleven diverse summer camps, including the Heritage and Folk Crafts Camp, the Thuraya Summer Camp, the Little Actor Camp, the Literature Camp, the Photography Camp, the Be Smart, Be Strong Camp, the Pottery Summer Camp, the Fine Arts Summer Camp, the Religious Camp, the Beauty of Our Heritage Camp, and the Silent Laughter Camp. From the very first day, an atmosphere of enthusiasm and engagement was evident in the various camps. Children eagerly participated in the activities and workshops, demonstrating curiosity and a thirst for discovery. They interacted with the instructors through discussions, group exercises, and creative activities, allowing them to express their ideas and unleash their imaginations in a stimulating learning environment that blended knowledge and entertainment. The Literature Camp witnessed remarkable participation through workshops such as “Knights of Language,” “Future Broadcaster,” “I Am a Poet,” “Storytellers,” and “Platform Stars.” These workshops aimed to develop Arabic language skills, elocution, creative writing, and build self-confidence and public speaking abilities.
