Polls closed, counting begins with 59% turnout

In the Armenian parliamentary elections, where 18 political parties and alliances are competing, all eyes are now fixed on the first official votes to come from the electoral boards. The first unofficial results are expected to arrive starting from midnight. Voter turnout stands at 59%.
