President appoints N Rangasamy as Puducherry CM, to take oath on May 13

A lawyer by profession and known for his soft-spoken image, Rangasamy is among Puducherry’s most prominent political leaders. Before founding the AINRC in 2011, he was a senior Congress leader but resigned in 2008 following internal differences within the party.
