Shots fired near Laidley Field, track meet suspended

Charleston Police responded to reports of gunshots in the area of Piedmont Road just outside Laidley Field around 1:00pm on Saturday. A track meet was taking place at Laidley Field at the time those shots rang out, and subsequently suspended as a result.
