Thane Municipal Corporation Detects 24 Suspected Bogus Doctors, Launches Verification Probe

The TMC has identified 24 suspicious doctors during a three-month crackdown on unauthorised medical practice. Special teams inspected 1,459 of the city’s 1,767 private clinics, verifying qualifications and registrations. The highest number of cases were found in Manpada-Majiwada, Diva and Kalwa. Authorities said legal action will follow once document verification is completed.
