Turkey Offers to Host Ukraine-Russia Peace Talks

On Saturday, June 27, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan announced that Turkey is ready to host delegations from Ukraine and Russia for a new round of peace negotiations. Fidan emphasized Ankara’s commitment to ending the war through dialogue based on international law. The proposal follows the last major talks held in Turkey in mid-2025, which resulted in a massive 1000-for-1000 prisoner exchange.
