UCLA’s Savage wins baseball coach of year award

John Savage, whose UCLA team was ranked No. 1 the entire regular season and won the Big Ten tournament before the Bruins were bounced in the regional round of the NCAA tournament, was named coach of the year by the College Baseball Foundation on Saturday.
