Man goes to prison for shooting at sleeping trucker

TUCUMCARI — A Tucumcari man will spend a little less than 1 1/2 years in prison after he shot and wounded a sleeping trucker on the city’s west side. Dadrian Ray Ysco, 20, pleaded guilty last week to charges of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, criminal damage to property over $1,000, shooting at or from a motor vehicle (no great bodily harm) and fraud over $2,500.
